I started my Youtube Channel in 2020 and created various thumbnails for my videos. Having a unique and eye catching thumbnail is one of the most important aspects of having a successful channel since it is the first thing that viewers see before even knowing what your video is about.

The challenge was to illustrate each video in a simple and eye catching way. I wanted the thumbnails to have a collage-like handmade feel to represent my artistic style. I created the thumbnails through Canva with snippets of my own photographs and personal touches.  

 

While my channel doesn't have a specific niche, it touches on my hobbies and interests from hiking, cooking, crafting, and painting. I also created a few "how to" videos, but have most enjoyed creating hiking content and showing my audience various hiking and nature spots.
